The Shelter Church's La-Shai House is a Christian Project that is dedicated to aged out foster care/homeless youth in Central Florida. It provides Godly and educational training on one unique site. As with all of our programs, the kids are provided with beautiful living arrangements.

 

The La-Shai House is not a shelter and does not provide temporary housing for individuals in crisis. Instead, we are focused on providing long-term solutions to self-sustainment -- a process that takes time. Those who complete our program stay an average of 18-24 months. However, length of stay is worked out with each individual resident based on their needs and goals; it may take more or less time.

 

The ultimate goal of the La-Shai House is that we can provide a stable place where young men and women can focus more on their personal goals than their personal safety.
